Anderson: <br /> The hearing on the referenced application for rezoning was held <br /> by your committee on August 12 , 1986 . We understand that the <br /> application would normally be considered by your committee on the <br /> fourth Tuesday of the month of the hearing, in this case, being <br /> August 26 , 1986 . <br /> We have been advised by the Town of Middleton that it does not <br /> wish to take final action upon our rezoning request until it has <br /> afforded the neighbors an opportunity to be heard. It is scheduling <br /> a meeting for this purpose . It does not appear that the Town will <br /> meet by August 26 , and accordingly your committee will probably not <br /> have received the recommendation of the Town at that time. <br /> This letter is to advise you of the reason why the recommendation <br /> may not be received by your committee by August 26 , and to request <br /> that, in the absence of Town recommendation, consideration and action <br /> upon our application be deferred until the September meeting of your <br /> committee .
