Section 10.12 (4) (a) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance <br /> provides that keeping of livestock requires a minimum of 5 acres <br /> and a minimum parcel width of 250 feet. <br /> NOTE: RH-1 Zoning is available which permits the keeping of <br /> - livestock (chickens) on 2 acres of land with a minimum parcel <br /> width of 150 feet. <br /> Section 10.01 (3) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance provides: <br /> Animal Unit. One (1) Animal unit shall be defined as being the <br /> equivalent of one (1) cow, four (4) hogs, 10 sheep, 10 goats, <br /> 100 poultry, one (1) horse, one (1) pony or one (1) mule. <br /> You are hereby notified to apply for appropriate zoning or <br /> terminate the keeping of livestock (chickens) on your property <br /> no later than August 5, 1986.
