EROSION CONTROL MEASURES <br /> Exhibit #3 contains the Grading and Erosion Control Plan. The initial land <br /> disturbing activity will be to install all sedimentation and erosion control measures, <br /> including the stone construction entrance and silt fence. <br /> During construction, all sedimentation and erosion control items will be maintained for <br /> maximum effectiveness. The stone construction entrance will have its stone replaced <br /> when the existing stone is no longer effective. Sediment trapped by the silt fence will be <br /> removed when it reaches a depth of approximately one-half foot. Disturbed areas will be <br /> temporary mulched within 8 months of initial disturbance and permanently restored <br /> within 1 year. Disturbed slopes greater than 20% will be temporary mulched within 7 <br /> days and permanently restored within 30 days. <br /> All pervious disturbed areas shall receive a minimum of four(4) inches of topsoil, <br /> fertilizer, seed and mulch. Restoration will occur as soon after the disturbance as practical. <br /> Seed mixture 40 shall be used on areas where lawn type turf is preferred and mixture shall <br /> be in accordance with section 630 of D.O.T. specifications. An equal amount of annual <br /> ryegrass shall be added to the mix. Acceptable native species for the shoreland zone <br /> (within 35 feet of the Ordinary High Water Mark) shall be selected from the approved list, <br /> available at http://www.danewacers.conVpdf/approved species.pdf. Fertilizer shall meet the following <br /> minimum requirements: Nitrogen, not less than 16%; Phosphoric Acid, not less than 8%; <br /> di Potash, not less than 8%. Seed mixtures shall be applied at the rate of four pounds per one- <br /> thousand square feet. Fertilizer mixtures shall be applied at the rate of four pounds per <br /> tkr one-thousand square feet.
