All members pre- <br /> sent with the exception of Goode. <br /> Mr. & Mrs . Roy Gibson appeared to request a variance for setback frAm high water <br /> line. Prt. Lot 21 , Block 2, 2nd Ward Beach - Section 28, 5140 Reynolds Ave. Re- <br /> quired setback: 59.3' normal high water line. Required variance: 8.3' . <br /> Sean Dugan appeared for the rezoning of the Cosmo Club ball diamond. Zoning peti- <br /> tion 3204 & CUP 370 (B-1 to RE-1 & alcoholic beverages) . The CUP is needed to al- <br /> low selling alcoholic beverages at their softball games this summer. <br /> Paul Kuehn appeared to request variance for land division, Section 9 - separate <br /> farm buildings and rezoning from A-1 to R-3A, located in the SEA of the SW's Sec- <br /> tion 9. They would like to change single family house to multiple family housing <br /> for rental property. He is asking for approval for the certified survey of the <br /> Frank Poulik Estate of which Kuehn intends to buy. <br /> Jim Spahn appeared to see if we would have any objections to a proposal of rezoning <br /> of 3/4 acre to R-1 or an acre to R-1A to allow him to construct a residence adja- <br /> cent to his business . <br /> Mt!ffert moved to approve the variance for Gibson to the Town Board, Reiser second. <br /> Motion carried with Schwahn abstaining. <br /> )iscussion was held on Dugan's request. We heard from Richard Potthast who owns <br /> land next to the Cosmo Club. He objects to alcoholic beverages, insufficient park- <br /> ing, too small of a diamond that isn't fenced in and Dugan's are planning to put <br /> in lights. On rebuttal by Dugan, he argued that there are no restrictions on soft- <br /> ball diamonds, they are not planning on putting lights ii1 and their diamond is <br /> actually longer than needed. On this note, Acker moved to accept rezoning petition <br /> and CUP, Reiser second. Meffert, Reiser and Acker voting for. Schwahn and Webb <br /> voting against. <br /> Meffert moved to approve Kuehn's Petition 3226, Webb second. Motion carried.
