Moore Analytic
880 Market Street • Oregon,Wisconsin 53575 • (608) 835-3631
Dec. 27, 1983
Richard Renk
Wilburn Rd.
Sun Prairie Wisconsin 53590
Mr . Renk:
Enclosed is the information that you requested for my
proposed new laboratory at 3088 Happy Valley Rd . I have en-
closed Elevations , Floor Plans , and Site Plans as you re-
quested . I have also enclosed a brochure describing my
testing services , and some pictures of my present laboratory
in Oregon. I have enclosed 7 copies of each of these for you
to distribute as you desire . Please let me know if you would
like some additional copies .
I started this laboratory for Switchgear Service Inc .
four years ago , and managed it for three years before buying
it . My business has increased to the point where I can no
longer handle it in its present location, and I have no room
for expansion . I am therefore forced to buy or build a new
facility , and would like very much to place it near my house
in the township of Bristol .
I can think of two major concerns that you might have
for the placement of my laboratory here , namely how it will
look and how safe is it . I have enclosed drawings of approx-
imately how it should look, and I would not be putting it
next to my house if I did not feel that it was entirely safe
to do so .
On the safety issue , I do use flammable solvents in my
testing . The solvents that I use are approximately the same
as gasoline , and will be having about 50 to 100 gallons on
the premise . This will need to be dealt with, but will pres-
ent no more of a hazard that a 100 gallon bulk gasoline
tank. I will be designing the building so that it will be as
fireproof as possible to prevent any problems , and will be
installing automatic fire extinguishers to further eliminate
any problems .
I will not be drilling a new well , but will be running
a water line over from my house . I will be putting in a new
septic system, and should have the results of the perk test
at the meeting on January 3 , 1984.
If you have any questions on the above , or need any ad-
ditional information , please feel free to contact me .
Si erely ,
Arlen
en Moore
