Moore Analytic
880 Market Street • Oregon, Wisconsin 53575 • (608) 835-3631
Feb . 14 , 1984
Members of the Dane County Ag Zoning Board :
Enclosed is some information that you should find help-
ful in considering my petition to re-zone 1 acre of property
from A-1 to C-1 for the purposes of building a new testing
laboratory .
I have been the manager or owner for this business for
the past 4 years , which is presently located at 880 Market
St . in Oregon . The business has grown to the point where I
can no longer operate at my present location, and the other
business present in the same building has also grown and
needs the space that I now occupy for its own expansion. I
would therefore like to build a new testing laboratory on
land that I presently own in Bristol township .
In order to build this testing lab , I must have a C-1
zoning on my land . Realizing that this same C-1 zoning would
also permit some businesses that would not be desirable in
this location , I have proposed several deed restrictions for
this property . These deed restrictions have been approved by
the Township of Bristol . A copy of these proposed deed re-
strictions is enclosed for your review. I will file these
deed restrictions as soon as I am assured that these restric-
tions are the ones that you and the township agree are the
ones necessary .
My customers are mainly Electric Utilities from through-
out the State , and include Madison Gas and Electric ,
Wisconsin Power and Light , and most of the municipal util-
ities and rural electric cooperatives throughout the state .
My customers also include the Department of Energy , Army and
Air Force , and University of Wisconsin .
I have talked to ALL of the neighboring property own-
ers , and they are all satisfied that this testing laboratory
would be a desirable addition to the community.
Since there is no local opposition to this rezoning ,
and since I have received the approval of the Town of
Bristol , I assume that this petition will receive your ap-
proval . If you should have any questions at any time you are
considering this , please feel free to contact me at the num-
bers or address listed in my brochure .
Thank You .
S ' ncerely ,
Arlen Moore
