According to what we have been told, the land
is zoned A-1 and needs to now be zoned RE-l.
Proposed use of property.
The Oregon Sportsmen's Club presently uses the property for their club
activities. Improvements to the property consist of a 30x60 clubhouse,
several storage buildings and trap houses for club trapshooting & skeet.
The club wishes to build a 30x90 addition to the clubhouse in order to
expand club activities to include an indoor archery range for its members
and guests.
Time Schedule.
Prices have already been obtained and financing arranged. According to
the contractor the addition could be erected and enclosed within 30 days.
Suitability of Use.
The property has already been partially developed for club activities.
The building addition would not have any affect on the surrounding area as
the archery range would be inside the addition.
Surrounding Land Uses.
There is no developed property adjacent to our property. Our property
is bordered on 3 sides by farm land and 1 side by Hook Lake. Approximately
150' south of the southwest corner of our property line on Sandhill Road
is the 1st of 11 single family dwellings. Approximately 400' north of the
northwest corner of our property on Sandhill Road is a single family dwelling.
These dwellings are more than 1000' from our clubhouse.
We are enclosing several scale drawings of our property and of our property
in relation to surrounding areas.
