Dane County Zoning Administrator Roger Lane assessed the damage to our <br /> home to be in excess of 50% of the value of the home, therefore, and pursuant to my NFIP flood <br /> policy (Policy and Claim #1927570056), we have applied for the Coverage D— Increased Cost of j <br /> Compliance (ICC) funds provided under the policy. According to our insurance carrier, in order o <br /> for us to receive the final payout of the ICC funds, we need a letter from th (/ <br /> stating that we have met the appropriate rules and regulations for elevating and ventilating our <br /> property according to the satisfaction. Please see the enclosed Plat Survey, Elevation <br /> Certificate and building photos, which indicate and show that we have lif}ed our house <br /> approximately 4.2 feet from its prior elevation and that the house now sits at 786.5 feet above <br /> sea level. <br /> I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a letter/certificate of occupancy stating: "the <br /> mitigation measures taken in regards to the home located at 358 Lake Shore Drive in the Town <br /> of Albion, Dane County, Wisconsin, have been satisfactorily completed in accordance with the <br /> Town of Albion's floodplain management requirements (ordinance or code) to reduce future flood <br /> damage; such measures included raising the home to or above the flood elevation level <br /> proscribed by the Town of Albion, adding ventilation holes to the foundation, and adding fill <br /> around the home." Please send this letter to my full-time home at 1344 Chipper Lane, Sun <br /> Prairie, WI 53590. I will send your letter to our insurance carrier, along with a list of <br /> expenses we have incurred to comply with the floodplain management requirements, in <br /> accordance with the carriers requirements. <br /> Please call or email me if you have any questions. <br /> Thank you. <br />
