J & H Landfill Company has an option <br /> to purchase the 20-acre property to the west of its existing landfill site <br /> for the purpose of increasing the design capacity of its landfill. Pursuant <br /> to §144.44(lm) of the Wisconsin Statutes, we are requesting that Dane County <br /> notify J & H Landfill Company of any local approvals which will be required <br /> under Dane County's existing ordinances for the expansion of this landfill. <br /> Enclosed please find a copy of the standard notice prepared by the Waste <br /> Facility Siting Board concerning the rights and responsibilities of <br /> municipalities under Wis. Stat. §144 .445. You should read this notice <br /> carefully. . <br /> Please provide J & H Landfill Company a list of all local approvals <br /> which will be necessary for the expansion facility to comply with local <br /> rules and regulations.
