Von Rutenberg, as owners , request a zoning change from the present R-3 residence district to the R-3A residence district for property located in Dane County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Lots Twenty-nine (29) , Thirty (30) , Thirty-one (31 ) , Thirty-two (32) and the North 1 /2 of Lot Thirty-three (33) and the North 12 feet of the South 1 /2 of Lot Thirty-three (33) , (Measured at right angles to the North line of said South 1 /2) , Brickson Park, in the Town of Westport. The tax parcel numbers for the subject property are: 33-37-776 ; 33-37-777 ; 33-37-778; 33-37-778. 1 ; 33-37-779 ; and 33-37-780. This zoning change is requested in order to permit construction of duplexes on the subject property. The property immediately surrounding the subject property con- sists of small residential homes. Directly across the road from the subject property is a large parcel of land which is zoned R-4 and which is presently being developed for multi-family dwellings , including the construction of an 8-unit building, a 4-unit building, duplexes and one single-family dwelling. Thus , the requested zoning change would result in a permitted use of the subject property which would be consistent with the use of the neighboring properties.
