Zoning <br /> Variance request for Ruland Residence, 83 Beach Ave, Edgerton, Wi. <br /> This request is for a variance to the Grading and Erosion Control Plan, exhibit#3, dated <br /> August 27, 2008 and prepared by Quam Engineering LLC. <br /> This request concerns the fill specified in the Dane Co. Zoning in the 100-year flood <br /> plain area, step#3. Due to lot size and house location on the lot, it will be difficult to <br /> follow the guidelines as given. I am requesting the follow variances if possible. <br /> Finished floor level as per elevation certificate of 02-06-09 787.2 <br /> 100 year flood elevation 784.0 <br /> Required fill elevation at foundation 785.0 <br /> 1. North side of building—fill to 785.0 level five (5)feet from foundation,then taper <br /> to ground level two (2) feet from roadway. App 783.0 <br /> 2. West side—fill to 785.0 level with rock wall on lot line and filled with dirt and six <br /> (6) inches of stone on top to the 785.0 level. <br /> 3. South side—fill to 785.0 level two (2) feet from foundation and taper to two <br /> railroad ties(app twelve 12 inches)or783.0 level eight(8) feet from the <br /> foundation. <br /> 4. East side—Fill to 785.0 level two (2)feet from the foundation and then taper to <br /> ground level, app 782.0 feet 15 fifteen(15) feet from the foundation. <br /> 5.
