_757
June 4, 1985
Dane County Zoning Commission
210 Monona Avenue
Madison, WI
4 Attention: Jim
Dear Board Members:
This letter is being submitted for the purpose of requesting your approval to
rezone my property from Al to R1. Said property is located in Dane County,
Township of Dunkirk, under the attached legal description.
I have also attached a hand drawn map of the area attempting to show the present
use of the area lands which ismainly residential. My land is presently an
island zoned Al exclusive. I propose to create two lots of 20,000 square feet
each immediately West of the four lots which were developed in 1984 by Russell
Rorge of Weber Realty in Stoughton. These two lots would be on the Eastern
portion of my land. The four lots sold by Russell Rorge are now three completed
new homes with a permit issued to construct the fourth and final home.
I have presently sold one of the two lots contingent on your approval of this
request, plus all other necessary items to make it a valid sale such as a perc
test, survey, etc. Unfortunately, timing is not in my favor as the Town Board
of Dunkirk does not meet until June 6, 1985. However, I have discussed my
pending plans with several members of the Board and have received a positive
response from them, including the Chairman of the Zoning Commission.
I will be attending a meeting with the members of the planning commission and have
been placed on the agenda for the meeting with the full Board on June 6, 1985.
I have also contacted all parties on Vernon Road requesting their approval on
rezoning and construction of two additional single family homes and have received
a favorable response. I therefore would greatly appreciate your consideration
regarding the zoning of this property and would ask that if this matter meets
with your approval, my request be allowed to be part of the public hearing
scheduled for July 9, 1985.
Thank you,
Edward E.
