VIERBICI-IER ASSOCIATES, INC.
July 1, 2008
Mr. Fred Hankel, Building Inspector
Town of Middleton
7555 W. Old Sauk Road
Verona, WI 53593
Re: Lot 3, Certified Survey Map (CSM) #3919878
7799 Old Sauk Road
Town of Middleton
Dear Fred;
In order to get a building permit for Lot 3 for the above referenced CSM, a site
visit is required by the Town Engineer. The Town Engineer is to review the
proposed placement of the home and determine if the impacts On stormwater
runoff are acceptable.
On June 16, 2008, I met with Phil Simon of Michael F. Simon Builders at the
site. The primary concern for this site was the prevention of stormwater runoff
down the existing shared driveway and onto Old Sauk Road. The proposed
location of the house and driveway will not cause any runoff to reach Old Sauk
Road via the existing driveway. The driveway for the new home will tee into the
existing shared driveway west of a high point in the existing driveway. The high
point is approximately 200' southwest of Old Sauk Road. Stormwater runoff
from the front of the new home and the driveway will flow to the existing
driveway, flow across the driveway, and then flow north to the ditch on Old Sauk
Road via a low area on the north edge of Lot 3. (A copy of the CSM is enclosed.
The direction of the proposed flow is indicated.)
`r I, I " The rear(south side) of the proposed home will drain south and east to existing
'' ro properties.
adjacent kettles located on this and ad
',y 1.: P P
Building the home in this manner satisfies the condition noted on the CSM.
v"""'''I '"" "' 11 2,, Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
VIERBICHER ASSOCIATES, INC.
Rod ubella, PE
RJZ/j km
cc: Phil Simon, Michael F.
