There are several issues that I would like to touch upon. First,we have <br /> been in contact with Russell Bartlett from your department and with Gerald Derr from the <br /> Town of Bristol trying to help us better understand what caused this situation and the <br /> steps that can be taken to comply with the request. We are getting varying responses as <br /> to our next steps and the ramifications of each. <br /> Secondly,we would like to explain part of what we think may have caused this issue. <br /> Currently we have various building materials(plywood, siding, ladders,etc.) laying in <br /> our yard. We are currently replacing the siding on our house and will be using some of <br /> this material. When money permits,we are planning on putting up a detached building to <br /> store our yard equipment and keep it out of sight. We completely understand that <br /> currently our yard is not the most aesthetically pleasing,but it is only temporary. In the <br /> meantime we are taking steps to comply with the ordinance. <br /> Our request is that we be given an extension of time to comply with your request. We <br /> would like to better understand all of the options available to us before we go ahead <br /> blindly. I hope you will be understanding of our lack of knowledge in zoning ordinances, <br /> and the need to try to understand what this all means to us. <br /> Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
