d>zi_77/
August 14, 1987
Mr. Lyman Anderson, Chairman
Agriculture , Environment & Land Records Committee
Dane County Zoning Department
Room 116 City-County Department
Madison, Tis c ons in 53709
Dear Mr. Anderson:
My name is Mrs. Roger Jacobson. I own the property
located at 2242 County Trunk AB, the property most
adjcent to the ')roposed site of the new Kegonsa
Joint Sanitary District Administration buildings
and pumping station.
I attended the meeting on August 11 at 7:30 PM in
the City-County office building. I did not speak
after Mr. Gary Smithback because I had not been inform-
ed of the previous town meeting held just prior to
your meeting.
Evidently being the owner and taxpayer of property
in the Town of Dunn does not entitle me to a vote on
these matters , simply because I do not reside at
T242 at the present time .
Therefore , I feel that I will now at this time at
least speak my feelings to your committee as I under-
stand I am able to give my opinion to someone .
I am not against the sanitation project coming in,
but I do feel that the noise and buildings that will
be most close to my property should be obscured from
my view and that the noise from the activity of the
machinery in the buildings should be muffled.
There are also several old oak trees in the path of
the proposed sewer lines I feel should not be destroyed.
They offer a natural barrier. In addition, I feel
a berm could be constructed to help with the noise
problem that will occur when the pumps are in use .
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
/1-‹) 64A9
Mrs. Roger Jacob on
AUG 17 1981
GJJ
cc : Mr. Ed Arnold
