• <br /> ( CffP /. 2---- <br /> BM880118 <br /> January 18 , 1988 <br /> • t ' • The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Eugene <br /> Skaar at 8 : 00 P .M. All members were present. The minutes of <br />• the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br /> The Treasurers report and due bills were reviewed. A <br /> motion was made by TN/SK to pay all due bills . _ Ca r-ied= -- -- _- <br /> . rr -Dave Ch ene appeared before the Board with reference to the <br /> Hazard parcel split. He stated that there is a septic tank <br /> on the parcel that is to be split off . The well is on the <br /> residential lot and serves all three parcels . Mr. Skaar <br /> stated that the corner lot may be required to be rezoned to <br /> R-1 . Mr . Cheney requested that a Conditional Use permit be <br /> approved for the corner lot . A motion was made by TN/ES to <br /> recommend approval of a C .U. P . and waiving the Planning <br />----- Committee hearing and require a well-agreement between -the - <br /> three lots . Motion- carried. <br /> ---- --fi-Ian3 Memory Gardens is requesting a C.U.P. for <br /> expansion of the cemetery. A motion was made by ES/MK to <br /> approve the request by Highland Memory Gardens for a C .U. P . <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ____• ________— _-_ _/ <br /> Glen - e4- -re• before _e the Board to inquire about the <br /> method of payment of the taxes on some land he had just sold. <br /> • <br /> Mr. Skaar explained that this should be worked out between <br /> - the buyer and the seller and that the Township does not get --- <br /> involved. <br /> Phase two of the Gaston Quarry reclamation plan was <br /> discussed. The plan has not been received by the Board. <br /> Atty. Cassidy suggested that nothing be done at this meeting <br /> because of the pr'e-trial hearing which is to be held on Jan. <br /> 19 , 1988 . Mr. Skaar will call Atty. Cassidy tomorrow to get <br /> the outcome of the pretrial hearing. A motion was made by <br /> TN/MK that the Board recommends that a citation be issued for <br /> failure to complete item two of the resolution pending the <br /> outcome of the pretrial hearing and that no blasting permit <br /> . _ , be-issued--when---the-current - permit --expires . -----Motion-car-r-i-ed. - -- --- <br /> - The ordinance regulating the sale of Alcohol beverages was <br /> discussed. A motion was made by MK/SK to table the ordinance <br /> until next meeting. Motion carried. . <br /> The snow plowing policy for the Town was reviewed. Silvin <br /> and Jeff reported on the meeting which they attended. Jeff <br /> presented the Board with a sample ordinance from the City of <br /> Stoughton regarding snow being plowed into the right-of-way. <br /> A motion was made by TN/SK that the sample ordinance be sent <br /> to Atty. Schneider for review and comment. Motion carried. <br /> • A motion was made by TN/SS that the road crew obtain and <br /> - - install correct signs for the- snowmobile crossings on -- - <br /> authorized trails . Motion carried. <br /> The voting equipment from Thornber Election Systems was <br /> . discussed. A motion was made by MK/SS that the Town purchase <br /> two voting booths , eight vote recorders and all other <br /> equipment as recommended on the proposal . Motion carried. <br /> A letter from Dane County Public Works was read. The <br /> • <br /> County is requesting that the final elevation of the land <br />
