• ( CffP /. 2---- BM880118 January 18 , 1988 • t ' • The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Eugene Skaar at 8 : 00 P .M. All members were present. The minutes of • the last regular meeting were read and approved. The Treasurers report and due bills were reviewed. A motion was made by TN/SK to pay all due bills . _ Ca r-ied= -- -- _- . rr -Dave Ch ene appeared before the Board with reference to the Hazard parcel split. He stated that there is a septic tank on the parcel that is to be split off . The well is on the residential lot and serves all three parcels . Mr. Skaar stated that the corner lot may be required to be rezoned to R-1 . Mr . Cheney requested that a Conditional Use permit be approved for the corner lot . A motion was made by TN/ES to recommend approval of a C .U. P . and waiving the Planning ----- Committee hearing and require a well-agreement between -the - three lots . Motion- carried. ---- --fi-Ian3 Memory Gardens is requesting a C.U.P. for expansion of the cemetery. A motion was made by ES/MK to approve the request by Highland Memory Gardens for a C .U. P . Motion carried. ____• ________— _-_ _/ Glen - e4- -re• before _e the Board to inquire about the method of payment of the taxes on some land he had just sold. • Mr. Skaar explained that this should be worked out between - the buyer and the seller and that the Township does not get --- involved. Phase two of the Gaston Quarry reclamation plan was discussed. The plan has not been received by the Board. Atty. Cassidy suggested that nothing be done at this meeting because of the pr'e-trial hearing which is to be held on Jan. 19 , 1988 . Mr. Skaar will call Atty. Cassidy tomorrow to get the outcome of the pretrial hearing. A motion was made by TN/MK that the Board recommends that a citation be issued for failure to complete item two of the resolution pending the outcome of the pretrial hearing and that no blasting permit . _ , be-issued--when---the-current - permit --expires . -----Motion-car-r-i-ed. - -- --- - The ordinance regulating the sale of Alcohol beverages was discussed. A motion was made by MK/SK to table the ordinance until next meeting. Motion carried. . The snow plowing policy for the Town was reviewed. Silvin and Jeff reported on the meeting which they attended. Jeff presented the Board with a sample ordinance from the City of Stoughton regarding snow being plowed into the right-of-way. A motion was made by TN/SK that the sample ordinance be sent to Atty. Schneider for review and comment. Motion carried. • A motion was made by TN/SS that the road crew obtain and - - install correct signs for the- snowmobile crossings on -- - authorized trails . Motion carried. The voting equipment from Thornber Election Systems was . discussed. A motion was made by MK/SS that the Town purchase two voting booths , eight vote recorders and all other equipment as recommended on the proposal . Motion carried. A letter from Dane County Public Works was read. The • County is requesting that the final elevation of the land
