•
3054 Highway BB
Madison, Wisconsin 53704
Telephone (608) 222-4335
July 16, 1987
Dane County
Land Regulation & Records
Room 116, City-County Building
Madison, WI 53709
I would like to apply for a conditional use permit for the land
described below:
A parcel of land in the N.E . 1/4 of the Fractional N.W. 1/4 of
Section 7, T. 7 N. , R. 11 E . , Dane County, Wisconsin more particularly
described as follows: Commencing at the North one-quarter corner of
said Section 7, thence S. 1 degree 00 ' E. along the North-South one-
quarter line of said Section 7, 1129.60 feet to the Northerly line
of C .T.H. "BB"; thence Westerly, on the Northerly line of C .T.H. "BB",
along a curve to the left having a radius of 7640 feet and measured
along a chord bearing S . 79 degrees 10 ' 30" W. , a distance of 768 .55
feet; thence N. 1 degree 00 ' W. , 1205.33 feet to the North line of
said Section 7; thence N. 84 degrees 49' E. along said North line
759.57 feet to the place of beginning. Said parcel contains 19.982
acres more or less.
This land has been used as a cemetery since 1966. Please refer to
the enclosed map. Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 are fully developed as
shown. The plat markers and trees have been planted in Section 7 .
The Feature for Section 7 will be installed this fall. The plantings
around the feature and the walkway shrubbery will be installed by
next fall. Section 5 will be the Garden of the Last Supper and has
not yet been developed. Section 8 is reserved for future mausoleum
development. The twelve blocks East of Section 3 that are not numbered
will also be used for mausoleum within the next few years . Section
6 will probably never be used for burial space. The office has been
built on Section 6, and the location of the septic drainfield has been
noted. We will probably build a maintenance building on Section 6
within the next 5 to 10 years. All the roads are gravel. We will
probably asphalt the roads in stages over the next 10 years. The
mausoleum in the center of Section 4 was built in 1976.
Except for a residential building, a business building, and a barn
near the south east corner of the cemetery, all land within 300 feet
is cornfield and County Trunk Highway "BB" .
Si cere y,
Timothy/L. TysVer
President
The kiss of the Sun for pardon
The song of the birds for mirth;
One's nearer God's heart in a Garden,
Than anywhere else on earth.
DOROTHY FRANCIS
