F. Sarko & Assoc. ) . Residents present: Loryn <br /> k:. Romadka & Ross H. Cramer [item 13 Jim & Billie March, Art & Brant <br /> Maurer , Martin & Ruth Johnson , Bob & Anna Ayen, Gary Aebly. <br /> Minutes of Sept. 24, 1957 were approved. <br /> 1 . DANE COUNTY Certified Survey #3995, submitted by Scott Edwards, <br /> 2755 Cross Country C_rcle. Proposed two-lot land division in Cross <br /> Country Estates Plat. Chairman reported receipt of a letter from <br /> Mrs. Linda Edwards stating that the survey will be withdrawn and <br /> requesting that commission table the matter until notification by <br /> the county. Dahl k moved, seconded by Williamson, to postpone <br /> consideration pending further information from Dane County. Motion <br /> Carried.* <br /> 2. DANE COUNTY ZONING PETITION #4100 and Conditional Use Permit <br /> *627, submitted by Dane County for a parcel located at 6830 UEH 18- <br /> 151 . Purpose: to change the zoning from A-1 Excl . Ag. to the RH-4 <br /> Rural Homes district and to provide for a community-based <br /> residential facility for elderly.y. Mr. Plummer explained that county <br /> is selling the Home West building and land , which will become a CBRF <br /> for 158 persons. The purchasers expressed their intent to integrate <br /> the residents into Verona senior activities and answered questions <br /> about the planned facility. Moved by Williamson, seconded by <br /> Maurer,' to recommend approval of Z. P. #4092. Motion Carried. <br /> 3. DANE COUNTY ZONING PETITI N #4091 submitt=ed by R. F.Sarko, agent <br /> or Fred Backman , to rezone a - _ocated at 6360 Pheasant Lane, <br /> from R-1 to R-3 to allow creation of three smeller residential lots. <br /> Mr. Backman explained that he plan s to add insulation, siding, and <br /> two-car garage to the existing small house, which has been <br /> uninhabited since explosion and fire last spring. He also plans to <br /> bring interior of the house up to minimum code requirements for a. <br /> safe and sanitary dwelling , but does not plan remodeling to add <br /> living =--pace. Mr. Backman acknowledged that he has undertaken work <br /> on the house without a building permit , but stated that he will do <br /> no further work without permits. <br /> Wendel wood residents stated their opposition to the proposed <br /> rezoning and indicated that petitions in opposition signed by all <br /> residents of the plat had been submitted to the county and town. <br /> ever3l residents stated that a two-lot division would be more <br /> compatible with the size of other lots in the plat and would al l,l <br /> Men . <br />
