11/01/07 <br /> ORD.AMDT.29,07-08 <br /> AMENDING CHAPTERS 12,75 AND 78 OF THE DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCESJNCREASING PLANNING AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT FEES <br /> The County Board of Supervisors of the County of Dane does ordain as follows: <br /> ARTICLE 1. Unless otherwise expressly stated herein, all references to section and chapter numbers are to those of the Dane <br /> County Code of Ordinances. <br /> ARTICLE 2. Subsection 12.05(1)is amended to read as follows: <br /> (1)The fee for a zoning permit to place fill, grade or excavate in a flood plain area shall be$125.00. Late Filing Fee: Where work <br /> has begun before a permit has been obtained the fee shall be doubled. <br /> ARTICLE 3. Subsections 12.05(6)and(7)are amended to read as follows: <br /> (6) The fee for a certificate of compliance for buildings constructed prior to August 20, 1970, and all other certificates provided <br /> for in chapter 10 shall be$45.00. <br /> (7) The fee for a salvage yard license or renewal shall be$125.00. <br /> ARTICLE 4. Subsection 12.05(9) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (9) The fee for each zoning certificate under the Wisconsin Farmland Preservation Act shall be$45.00. <br /> ARTICLE 5. Subsections 12.05(12)and(13)are amended to read as follows: <br /> (12) The fee for an administrative determination of the flood plain status of a parcel of land shall be$125.00. <br /> (13) The fee for an administrative determination of the navigability or ordinary high water mark of any lake,pond,flowage, river or <br /> stream shall be$125.00. <br /> ARTICLE 6. Subsection 12.08(2)is amended to read as follows: <br /> (2) Fees are imposed according to the following schedule: <br /> TYPE OF SIGN: FEE <br /> APARTMENT COMPLEX $75.00 <br /> BILLBOARDS (Each Face) $250.00 <br /> DEVELOPMENT (Each Face) $75.00 <br /> DIRECTORY (Each Face) $100.00 <br /> HOME OCCUPATION $50.00 <br /> LIMITED FAMILY BUSINESS $50.00 <br /> ON-PREMISE ADVERTISING (Each Sign) $100.00 <br /> MARQUEE(Each Sign) $100.00 <br /> SUBDIVISION (Permanent) $100.00 <br /> ARTICLE 7. Subsection 75.22(5)is created to read as follows: <br /> (5) Any person seeking a determination by the County Land Division Review Officer as to the applicability of Chapter 75 to a <br /> particular parcel or parcels shall pay a fee of$100.00. <br /> ARTICLE 8. Section 78.06 is amended to read as follows: <br /> 78.06 ADMINISTRATION. It shall be the duty of the Dane County Zoning Administrator to administer and enforce the regulations <br /> prescribed in this chapter. Applications for variances shall be made to the Dane County Zoning Administrator upon a form <br /> furnished by her or him. Applications which are by this chapter to be decided by the board of adjustment shall be granted or <br /> denied within sixty(60)days of the date of filing of the applications, unless Federal Aviation Administration approval is requested. <br /> Applications for action by the board of adjustment shall be forthwith transmitted by the zoning administrator to the board for hearing <br /> and decision. There shall be a charge of$350.00 for applications. <br /> • <br /> Zoning&Land Regulation and Personnel& Finance Committees recommend adoption of Ord.Amdt.29 with the following <br /> amendment: In Article 4, reduce the farmland zoning certificates fee from$45 to$30.
