Also attending were Ken Clark, Pete and Sue Meffert,
Kurt Breunig, Todd and Kathy Burud, John Oakeson, John Ungrodt, Richard
Mueller, Gary Divall , Betty Von Rutenberg , F. L . Christenson and Bud Tabaka.
A lengthy discussion was held regarding Zoning Petition 4101 ( A-lEx to R-1 ,
Sec 4 - Meffert ) . Kurt Breunig appeared to request a deed restriction to
provide that the rezoned area could not be separated from the farm. Pete
Meffert stated he would never sell the house but was opposed to the
inclusion of the restriction. No recommendation was made.
Todd Burud appeared to discuss a proposed land division. He is requesting a
split of Lot 4, CSM 5334, into two five-acre parcels. Gary Divall appeared
with him to support a change to the covenants to restrict the size of all
lots to no less than five acres. The consensus of the Commission was to
request Lots 1 , 2 and 3 remain as indicated on the original certified
survey. A certified survey to split Lot 4 would require notation to
prohibit any subdivision.
A short discussion was held on the update to the Town Plan. The only change
was to add Utility #4 as a limited service area. A copy of the text was
distributed by Bud Tabaka. The Commission recommended approval of the
updated Town Plan. He also distributed a draft copy of a design review
ordinance.
Pastor Mueller and John Oakeson, representing Our Lord and Savior Church,
appeared to discuss locating a future church on the south side of Woodland
at CTH Q with access on Woodland. They are considering the purchase of 8 to
10 acres and would require approval of a certified survey map and rezoning
possibly to R-1 with a conditional-use permit .
Ken Clark appeared to discuss Sub 1 to Dane County Ordinance Amendment 25
which attempts to deal with problems created by the original amendment.
There are still language problems and he recommended some changes. The
consensus of the Commission was to support the changes.
Discussion of the design review ordinance was postponed until December.
Meeting adjourned at 9:55P.M.
1
Gail Goode, Secretary
•
