MR. DAHLK: On hot days within --
kw 2 with a lot of traffic on a hot day within an
hour you'd never know you did it?
MR. ZIEGLER: Right. With the tack
coat we may be able to put down, just trying to
remember back, it may last three months. We
would have to do it a couple times a year. We
wouldn't have to do it day-in and day-out, but
it's something we're definitely willing to
consider.
MR. HANNA: Is that where they put
two layers of oil mixed with the gravel?
MR. ZIEGLER: No, it's just the oil
itself. It's a black tar stuff. It comes out
of a truck with a big drum in the back and %
sprays it along. It looks like tar, but as far
as waste, the DNR will fine you, you can't use
it.
I believe the pea gravel is the same
stuff. They have different names for each of
them. Whatever is accepted by the DNR we'll
use.
MR. DAHLK: Do you have a question?
MS. DISCARD: I've got a question. I
don't see it anywhere. I'm sorry to have to
thw 17
* * * CAPITOL CITY REPORTERS * * *
