Peterson
619 Morningside Avenue
Madison, WI 53716
RE: Rezone application #4196 - A-1 Ex. to R-4 - Section 10, Town of
Christiana.
Dear Mr. Peterson:
Please be advised that your Petition was re-referred to the Agriculture,
Environment & Land Records Committee because the conditions requested by the
Town Board regarding construction being brought up-to-code cannot
appropriately be included in the rezone.
Another concern is that the State Building Code may make the project
cost-prohibitive and if so, the R-4 Multi-family Zoning would not be necessary.
Therefore, to alleviate an unnecessary rezone and to address the concerns that
the building construction comply with code the following procedure will be
required:
1) . Prepare and submit preliminary plans to the State for approval.
2). Submit verification of State approval of the preliminary plans to
Dane County Zoning to be referred to the Agriculture, Environment & Land
Records Committee.
3). The Agriculture, Environment & Land Records Committee will
reconsider your rezone application upon receipt of the verification of
State approval.
The next two scheduled committee work meeting dates are May 24, June 28; you
would have to submit verification of State approval to us 5 days prior to the
date of a scheduled meeting in order of be placed on the agenda.
