Howe and Maureen Howe have requested that we <br /> assist them with their petition to rezone approximately seven <br /> acres of real estate from A-1 Agriculture District to RH-1 Rural <br /> Homes District. Certified Survey Map No. 5442 covers that <br /> parcel. A copy of Certified Survey Map No. 5442 is enclosed. <br /> The approximately seven acres which is the subject of the <br /> Howes ' rezoning request is a part of an approximately 257 acre <br /> parcel owned by the Howes. The approximately seven acres consist <br /> of two barns, a steel garage and a silo. There was a house on <br /> this property but a fire destroyed it. The land is fenced and is <br /> stoney (lime rock) pasture land. It is not suitable for <br /> agricultural purposes. The Howes desire to have the property <br /> rezoned to allow for future residential building.
