OPALS' \ \\, • II
RAM " ,' - - -.- II I
TOWN of DUNN 4156 C.T.H. B McFarland, WI 53558
December 29 , 1986
Dane County Agriculture, Environment
and Land Records Committee
210 Monona Avenue, Room 116
Madison, Wisconsin 53709
Attention: Bill Fleck
Subject: Proposed Zoning Petition 3772
Dear Mr. Fleck:
Please advise the zoning committee members that the Dunn
Town Board has reviewed the above proposed petition to create
a new section of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance for family
limited business .
The Town Board likes the concept of allowing some small
businesses in the home by a conditional use permit that allows
for neighborhood input and town veto.
The concerns they have with the petition as drafted is how
to enforce it. the lack of a definition of a service oriented
occupation, and the lack of a review period ( 2 years? ) to check
for violations and allow for neighborhood input after the busi-
ness is in operation.
If these concerns can be addressed, the Town Board would
look favorably on this type of change in the ordinance .
Sincerely,
Rosalind Gausman, Clerk
