RE: Conditional Use Permit For Norway Grove Cemetery & Norway Grove klemorial Church TC: Zoning Board We , the Board "embers , ofthe Norway Grove Cemetary Assn. along with the members of the Norway Grove Memorial Luth. Church do hereby request rezoning for a Conditional Use Permit on the above in the Township of Vienna, Dane Co. 'Adis.. Attached is a metes and bounds description of the existing premises as properly recorded in the files of the I,egister of Deeds of Dane Co. Attached also is a map drawn by a certified surveyor of the portion of lands to be added to the existing cemetary properties. A final certified survey is being pro ided for recording in the near future.. The proposed use of the cemetary addition is for burial purposes and for he use of members of the Memorial Luth. Church and Christ Luth. Church of De-o est. yhese two congregatiions are the owners of said prcpeyty and this cemetary board is the governing body representing both owners. No immediate development of the addional lands will take place until needed , but a new drive along the north edge will be done this fall. This will be a gravel roadway for addional access to cemetery lots. The church, parsonage and cemetary have been in existence for 150 years and the lands have been for this use during this entire period.. All lands ad ' cent are used for agricultural purroses being over four hundred"f om the nearest Village limits of Deforest and not provided ith any municipal utilities. It should be noted that the cemetary is a non-profit, non- commercial venture of the two congregations as it has been for these many years.. Since this Conditonal Use permit was not recognized. when the Township of Vienna declared itself a agricultural zoning, we now ask that said use permit be granted.
