Yes. (D.R.) <br /> ANALYSIS: 3785 Kennel has been in operation for many years, no complaints have been <br /> received about its operation. The amended deed restriction will allow <br /> the kennel to accommodate up to 30 cats in addition to the 100 dogs <br /> currently allowed. <br /> CONCERNS EXPRESSED AT/AFTER PUBLIC HEARING; <br /> STAFF COMMENTS; <br /> R.P.C. - Petition 3785. This Is an existing dog kennel In the Town of Burke. <br /> The existing limit Is '60 dogs and the applicant is requesting that limit <br /> be raised to 100. <br /> This Is an agricultural preservation area according to the Town of Burke <br /> Land Use Plan, with non-farm homes on nearly all the small parcels shown <br /> on the map. The nearest homes are the three across the road to the west <br /> and a farmhouse to the north. The primary potential conflict is the <br /> additional traffic and noise generated by additional dogs. <br /> There does appear to be sufficient space on-site to accommodate an <br /> addition. <br /> E.H.D. - Petition 3785 Any increase in water use due to an increaae <br /> in the number of animals would require a review of the <br /> existing private sewage system. Consideration should be <br /> given to provisions to control noise and odor nuisances that <br /> may result from increased animal boarding. <br /> Co. Hwy. - <br />
