Q # o -/,3/, 3, /
Dear Sirs: Re: Town of Blooming Grove
2417 Vondron Rd. , Madison, Wis.
We wish to apply for a conditional use permit for the above property.
There has been a house there for many, many years and it has been rented
out to our son, Bradley Ampe, who has served as a caretaker/watchman for
the property which is used primarily for our excavating business. The
house was becoming badly dilapitated and in need of many repairs. We have
had to put in a new foundation and flooring, as well as siding and insulating
the building. We decided to add an attached garage. Originally we had
thought to use the building as an office building for our business, but
have postponed that move for approximately 5 years.
At the present time it is desirable to have a caretaker/watchman residence
because the location is fairly remote from other buildings. There are other
businesses in the area but on evenings and weekends there are very few people
around. Adjacent to the property there are 3 residential houses owned by
Bill Voges. The property north of Voges, houses another excavating business
and has a house trailer used for caretaker/watchman. I feel that the use
of the house on our property is not out of line with what is being done in
immediate neighborhood. Across Vondron Rd. is Madison Bumper Exchange and
a warehouse is being built at the present time. South of the house is vacant
farmland which is being proposed for a landfill site by John DeBeck.
Yours truly,
Donald A. Ampe
ay/
Patricia A. Ampe
