Agriculture district to the RH-3 Rural Homes disctrict.
I stated my position opposing this rezoning at the Public Hearing held
November 11, 1986. I want to clearly state that this request is in direct
conflict with the Town of Dunn Land Use Plan. As a long time resident of the
Township I must support the use of the Plan as it was intended. The Town of
Dunn Planning Committee reviewed this petition and recommended to decline the
petition to the Town Board, which also declined the petition.
This should be a clear message to your Committee that the people of the Town
of Dunn have full intention to follow the Land Use Plan that was adopted and
voted for by the people of the Town of Bunn.
The proposed petition and home building would have very serious impact upon
the enviorment. It is in direct conflict with all available suggested land use
in the areas that may have a harmful effect on the enviroment.
I am one of the nearest residents to this area and have been for several years;
therefore I feel I am in a position to give a first-hand opinion of the possible
endangerment to the enviroment that would be caused by{ cception°the petition.
Chairman Anderson made a statement concerning the protection of the landowner
regarding the sale of his properties if the petition was denied. Please note that
the current owner of this land IS NOT A RESIDENT OF THIS TOWNSHIP OR OF THIS STATE
and became the owner through an apparent land speculation and business deal. I
feel that in this particular situation the Committee should give its first
consideration to the Township and its current taxpaying residents. If the current
landowner had been a longtime landowner, user and taxpaying resident, then his
position could be given equal consideration to that of the people of the Township.
However, this is not the case.
I urge the Committee toy the petition as presented.
"nceyely, / /
Campbell DANE COUNTY
'tor Z G. &RECORDS
NOV 19 1986
LOWING Div
