•
REQUEST FOR REZONING
The undersigned, Attorney Charles J. Howden, on behalf of George E.
Randle and Gretchen Kehrli Randle hereby petition the County of Dane to
rezone the following land from its current agricultural zoning
classification to the classification of rural housing under Class RH-3
That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of
Section 8, Town 5 North, Range 6 East, Dane County,
Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast 1/4
of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 8; thence South
along the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 8, 950.00 ft. ; thence East,
450.00 ft. ; thence North, 950.00 ft. ; thence West,
450.00 ft. to the point of beginning.
NOTE: The final description will be by Certified
Survey Map and will contain less than 5 acres.
The tax parcel number of the entire parcel of the land being purchased
by the Randles is 22-08-153.
The Randles plan on using the property which is proposed to be rezoned
as the site of their new residence. Within the next two years they plan on
building a house and garage on this property.
All land use within 300 feet of the above property is agricultural.
The Randles intend to purchase a 40 acre site and rezone only this 5 acre
parcel. The remainder of the 40 acres will continue under current use
which is primarily agricultural with some wooded land.
The total acreage of the area proposed for rezoning will be between
four and five acres but no more than five acres. The Randles have
contacted Richard D. Talarczyk, a registered surveyor who provided the
above description and will be providing a Certified Survey Map of the
parcel. This final map will show the exact description of the property to
be rezoned and will show that the property abuts upon the current town
road, called Hilltop Road, that passes through the 40 acre parcel being
purchased by the Randles.
The Randles have obtained a report on soil borings and perculation
tests, a copy of which is attached for your reference. They plan on having
the mound system which is called for in the report on the five acres which
is requested to be rezoned.
