Our product is distributed in grocery <br /> stores and restaurants throughout the Midwest . Our interest in this site <br /> is primarily to secure a location for a new plant to cover additional <br /> production needs anticipated in the future. The conceptual plan, <br /> submitted with this application, also shows potential development of this <br /> land by other businesses. The Land Use Plan of the Town of Westport <br /> includes this property in the sewered development district allowing <br /> permitted uses for residential , commercial , and industrial development. <br /> To the north of the C-1 District , we have proposed an A-2 District to act <br /> as a buffer between the commercial areas and existing residential areas. <br /> This A-2 District will be planted with trees for screening to enhance the <br /> appearance of the property. <br /> The southwest corner of the property would be rezoned to conservancy to <br /> protect trees and vegetation that naturally exist in this area. <br />
