Three Gaits is accredited by the
North American Riding for the Handicapped Association and is
a non-profit organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the
Internal Revenue Code.
Three Gaits, Inc. is requesting a rezoning from Al to A2 in
order to comply with the zoning ordinances of the Town of
Rutland and Dane County. To the best of our knowledge, this
property has been a stable for approximately 28 years. The
property has two barns for stabling, an indoor riding arena,
several paddocks and pasture land. The property lends itself
well for our purposes of operating a riding program. In
addition to stabling the horses and ponies used in the
therapeutic riding program, Three Gaits does board a limited
number of horses for persons not affiliated with the program
to raise revenue to help pay the mortgage. Three Gaits
also plans to host a few horse shows and other fundraising
events on the property. Adequate off street parking has
been planned for.
We hope our petition for rezoning from Al to A2 will be
approved by the Commission. We look forward to a long and
friendly working relationship with the community.
Sincerely,
(14 .: 6 n J
 Gail Brown
Executive Director
