Move that the following <br /> standard contained in section 10.255(2)(h)of the Dane County Zoning Code,namely: <br /> "That the establishment of the conditional use will not impede the normal and orderly <br /> development and improvement of the surrounding property for uses permitted in the <br /> district." IS NOT MET for the following reasons: increasing the size of the quarry will <br /> increase the number of properties affected by the quarry and that could impede the <br /> normal and orderly development and improvement of the surrounding properties. If there <br /> are additional areas where blasting is being done it could impede the normal and orderly <br /> development and improvement of the surrounding properties currently zoned agricultural <br /> may not be able to go to residential or commercial because of the blasting nearby. They <br /> would not have enough value to be sold which would affect the normal orderly <br /> development and improvement. Motion carried.
