Staff has reviewed your application and the following items need to be <br /> addressed as soon as possible in order to adequately prepare a staff report prior to the Dane County <br /> Public Hearing: <br /> • A complete metes and bounds legal description, describing the entire area devoted to mineral <br /> extraction purposes as well as any expanded areas. The legal description that was submitted <br /> only describes the existing CUP areas. <br /> • A detailed map, drawn to scale that coincides with the areas described within the legal <br /> description. <br /> • An operational plan that shows the following details: Location of the existing highwalls, direction <br /> of extraction (phasing), haul routes, storage areas, weigh station, any detention areas. <br /> o Scaled drawing of the property showing existing/proposed buildings, setback <br /> requirements, driveway, parking area, outside storage areas, location/type of exterior <br /> lighting, any natural features, and proposed signs. <br /> • A plan map showing the entire activity area and the surrounding neighboring properties. <br /> The information described above will need to be submitted no later than November 11, 2016: If the <br /> information is not received by this date, the public hearing may need to be changed to December 13th or <br /> January 24th in order to allow sufficient time to review a complete application. Also, the existing <br /> reclamation plan on file may need to be amended if the new application is approved to allow for the <br /> expanded areas. <br /> In addition, all mineral extraction operations conducted under CUP 1672 and CUP 1993 are to be <br /> suspended until the town of.Burke and Dane County have taken action on the new conditional use permit <br /> application.
