When the Department acquired the land <br /> for the frontage road we did not place any restrictions on access to the <br /> parcel of land that now comprises Lot 1 and 2 of CSM 2084. <br /> The restriction of one driveway to serve Lots 1 and 2 was a condition of <br /> approval of the certified survey map. This condition was placed either by the <br /> City of Madison or Dane County, or both. I may add that we support that <br /> condition because of the proximity to the exi t ramp from the freeway. <br /> The bottom line is: If you wish to try to obtain a variance to the <br /> requirement of the one joint driveway for Lots 1 and 2; you should contact <br /> Mr. Norbert Scribner of Dane County and make an appeal to the County Planning <br /> and Zoning Committee. <br /> The actual location of the curb cut is under the control of the Town of <br /> Madison as the town is the maintaining authority of this section of the <br /> frontage road. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> LeRoy R.
