The general uses proposed--horse boarding and limited family business- <br /> electrical contractor-- appear reasonably consistent with adopted policies in the Town of York. <br /> This site has sheds and foundations of the former farmstead;therefore, it had been previously used. <br /> The electrical contractor use appears reasonable if kept within the requirements of a limited family <br /> business. <br /> We note that the application includes a request for"unlimited livestock." All other such A-2 parcels <br /> are limited to one animal unit(horse in this case)per acre. Therefore the limit for the site is 5 horses. <br /> If approval for more than 5 horses is granted,there should be provision for off-site manure removal, <br /> and off-site pasture or exercise areas.
