Now the owner wishes to: <br /> a. Bring the existing tavern use on this 0.76 acre C-1 zoned parcel into compliance; <br /> b. Bring existing outdoor entertainment into compliance, including the Riley Fest, which <br /> is currently held annually in late August, and monthly summertime bluegrass jam <br /> sessions. These have been held "for several years...without incident."Hours of <br /> operation for entertainment activities correspond with"State law limits [for] the hours <br /> of tavern operations". 7 <br /> c. Expand the existing tavern use by using a portion of a new 33' x 110' ._ • <br /> currently under construction(Zoning Permit 1999 2856, issued 05/23 at for"food <br /> service and sales of individual beverages during those times of the year when outdoor <br /> entertainment activities are provided." <br /> d. Allow games such as horseshoes and/or volleyball "to have lights installed for limited <br /> nighttime activity..." which probably would "not...extend beyond 10:00 p.m." <br /> The tavern employs 5 people including the owners. Additional employees may <br /> occasionally be added "on a temporary basis".
