There are six different
"original farms" represented with these parcels. An original farm is defined by
ownership as of May 15, 1982 as defined in the town's density policy. The majority of
the parcels fall into the Agricultural Preservation Area where the density policy applies,
and some fall within what is now the Commercial Development Area. Following is a list
of the original farms, and the estimated residential dwelling units (RDUs) associated with
each one. For each of these, please refer to the associated density study report and any
density report supporting materials.
Kittleson Farm
There is one RDU remaining. The original Kittleson farm is eligible for two RDUs. Two
lots were created via CSM 8628, and because one of those lots served to separate the
original farm, per town policy, this lot did not count against the total.
Wood Farm
There are two RDUs remaining. The original Wood farm is eligible for two RDUs.
Parcel 071135299050 (0.86 acres), separated off the original farm and therefore does not
count against the total. It also appears that the house no longer exists.
Roe Farm
There is one RDU remaining from this farm. There were five RDUs associated with the
original Roe farm, plus three RDUs that were sent to the Roe farm from other farms.
There were seven RDUs used on parcels ending in 95100, 95250, 95350, 99500, 98900,
98500 and 97750. One of the three RDUs that was sent to this farm, was from the Dahl
farm (rezone #8632), and the other two were from the Hellickson farm (rezone #8632 and
rezone #10280). You can see some of the supporting materials related to the transfers in
the density study report for the Hellickson farm.
