' ..... <br /> Background <br /> Eugene Scholl owns 60+ acres zoned A-1EX according to the rezone application signed by Dale <br /> Scholl, the agent for this petition. Although the legal titleholder of record for this parcel is <br /> Eugene Scholl, Dale is a legal owner, and wishes to create a 3.44-acre A-2 (2) zoned area(not a <br /> separate parcel.) He plans to build a new single-family residence for himself and operate a <br /> horse-boarding stable for"about 25 horses" within the A-2 (2) zoned area. The A-2 (2) district <br /> requires a Conditional Use Permit for"horse boarding stables, riding stables, hay and sleigh <br /> rides, horse shows and similar events. It also limits livestock to one animal unit per full acre for <br /> parcels of 2-16 acres, so Dale Scholl must also apply for the Conditional Use Permit for <br /> "Unlimited livestock on 3-16 acres"to accommodate the additional horses.
