Reclamation Plan#3 is on file <br /> with Dane County Zoning Division.The plan shows that the area will have residential, multifamily, <br /> and commercial development in the area once the aggregate is extracted from the site. <br /> Staff feels that this addresses the concern with reclamation.See attached plan. <br /> Concur. <br /> 2.The public expressed concerns regarding safety of the site. One of the conditions suggested in <br /> the conditional use permit is that a 4-foot tall fence be installed around the entire excavation <br /> area for safety purposes.Staff feels that this is an adequate measure to deter persons from <br /> entering the site.One possible additional safety feature may be to post"no trespassing"signs <br /> along the east fence line. <br /> Please refer to the enclosed Exhibit A for fence location reference. <br /> 3.The public expressed concerns regarding the screening of the excavation area.The previous <br /> CUP plans notes berms to be place on the east side of the quarry on Phase 4.Attached are the <br /> details showing the berms. It is unclear of the location of the berms. Please revise the <br /> operations plan to show the location of the berms. If landscaping it to be placed on the berms, <br /> please provide information. <br /> Please refer to the enclosed Exhibit A for berm location reference. Please note consideration has been <br /> given to the location of the berm as applicable for additional visual screening. <br /> 4.The public expressed concerns regarding the eastern edge of the quarry activities.The <br /> proposed CUP boundary submitted shows that the east boundary abuts the subdivision to the <br />
