During the meeting,the width of the lot was in question due to the potential of having storm water management features being needed for the length of the driveway. In order to address the question, County Staff is requesting that you contact Dane County Water Resource Engineering Division, 224-3730,to obtain a preliminary review to identify whether erosion control and storm water control standards can be met for the proposed site. See Dane County Code of Ordinance Section 14.48. The petition has been tentatively set for the March 14, 2017 Zoning and Land Regulation Committee meeting. A preliminary review letter provides a potential permit applicant with an initial simple evaluation of whether erosion and stormwater control standards can be met for a proposed site, lot layout, construction design. This review is intended to assist applicants in preparing general site plans and other submittals necessary to obtain an erosion control and stormwater permit. A preliminary review letter does not guarantee that an erosion or stormwater control plan will be approved or that a permit will be issued. Erosion and stormwater control plans and permit applications must meet all applicable standards and criteria for approval. 1
