Zoning&Land Regulation Minutes June 27,2017 <br /> Committee <br /> CUP 2092 Revocation of Conditional Use Permit#2092 <br /> Jon and Wendy Steinhauer <br /> 1861 Sandy Ridge Court, Section 34, Town of Springdale <br /> Reason: violation of condtions of approval for a limited family business(auto <br /> repair) <br /> In opposition of revocation:Jon Steinhauer, Ron Trachtenberg, Eugene Woller, Tim <br /> Woller, Jeff Hilliard, Bob Schultz, and Noel Hutton. <br /> In support of revocation: Vicki Anderson, Town Supervisor John Bosenbaum, Dan <br /> Allen, and Alice Allen. <br /> A motion was made by MILES,seconded by MATANO,to revoke conditional use <br /> permit#2092 effective December 11,2017 for failure to comply with conditions of <br /> approval and the business no longer meeting standards for a conditional use <br /> permit. Motion carried,4-1 (O'Loughlin-Nay). Youth Governance Member Sam <br /> Fischer-Nay. <br /> Finding of Fact: Conditional Use Permit#2092 was based on the information <br /> provided by the applicant which identifies the land use as a"part time job since I <br /> already maintain a full time job,and used only as a[n]invite only for the repair[s] <br /> of family and friends[vehicles]."The land use is now a full-time auto repair shop <br /> offering services to anyone. The current land use as an auto repair shop is not <br /> permitted in the A-1 Agriculture Zoning District and should be in a commercial <br /> zoning district as other auto repairs shops in the Town. The land use has <br /> expanded past this description and goes beyond the scope of a limited family <br /> business as noted in Dane County Code of Ordinance Section 10.192.The <br /> property was found in violation of Conditions 3 and 4 of Conditional Use Permit <br /> #2092. The business expansion from the letter of intent fails to meet Standard 2 <br /> and Standard 6 of the standards to obtain a conditional use permit as noted <br /> under Dane County Code of Ordinance Section 10.255(2)(h). <br /> Ayes: 4- BOLLIG,KOLAR,MATANOandMILES <br /> Noes: 1 - O'LOUGHLIN <br /> D. Zoning Map Amendments and Conditional Use Permits from previous <br /> meetings <br /> E.
