area, so it doesn't draw any particular attention. It seems that a person would
have to spend considerable time watching the property to observe activity
regarding the business.
We have never been aware of any noise coming from the property, other than
children's voices enjoying a summer afternoon. We can hear the traffic on Hwy
G, or the sound of an idling Harley Davidson motorcycle, so if there was noise
emanating from Jon's shed, we would be able to hear it.
There has never been a problem with traffic from Jon's property. We travel
Sand Ridge court frequently and have not noticed any increase in traffic or
concerns when we take walks to Hwy G.
We do not feel that the neighborhood has issues with Jon having a conditional
use permit. For us, it has been a very positive thing. We are able to take our
vehicles to Jon, walk home, and walk back when he is finished. It's difficult to
find a good mechanic. We have been very impressed with Jon's ability to
diagnose the problem correctly the first time. He has worked on our cars as
well as lawn mower and snow blower. Not having to keep a trailer to haul the
lawn mower for repair is a nice benefit. The revocation of Jon's conditional use
permit would defiantly have an impact on us.
We also have no concern regarding our property value due to Jon maintaining
his conditional use permit. If Jon did not keep the property so well maintained
or he had junk vehicles stored outside in view like an auto salvage yard, we
would have concerns.
