Subcontract Document.g. The Subcontract Documents consist of the following: <br /> a. This Subcontract Agreement("Agreement")and any attached exhibits; <br /> h. The General Contract,consisting of the agreement between either the Owner and Hoffman or Hoffman and the third party <br /> general contractor,as appropriate,and any supporting documents listed in the General Contract,including,but not limited <br /> to, standard specifications, general conditions, special provisions, plans and specifications, and supporting documents <br /> ("General Contract"). (Upon Subcontractor's request,Hoffman will provide an unpriced copy of any part of the General <br /> Contract); <br /> c. Any written modifications to this Agreement;and <br /> d. All AlA or AGC documents relating to the Project. <br /> e. Any other documents specifically referred to by Hoffman as part of this Agreement. <br /> 2. Services to be rendered. See Attached Exhibit"A"(the contents of which are hereinafter referred to as"Work"). <br /> 3. Plan approval. Within three weeks,or such different time period as required by the General Contract,after the date of this Agreement, <br /> Subcontractor will submit to Owner and Hoffman,for their approval,all necessary shop drawings,lists of materials(itemized as to type,source, <br /> etc.),or any other information that Owner or Hoffman may request. Subcontractor will accept as conclusive Hoffman's or Owner's measurements, <br /> estimates,and computations as to quantities and amount of work done. <br /> 4. Work Schedule. Subcontractor will commence its Work within five days after notice by Hoffman or as required by the Owner or General <br /> Contractor. Subcontractor will proceed to completion with due diligence and speed. If Subcontractor fails to commence work as required,or if <br /> Subcontractor does not prosecute its Work vigorously,as determined by Hoffman,Hoffman will,at Hoffman's option,take over the Work and <br /> complete it,either by use of day labor or reletting of all or any part of the Work. Should Hoffman's cost of completing the Work be in excess of <br /> the original subcontract price or the amount left to be paid Subcontractor under this Agreement,Subcontractor and its surety,if any,will pay for <br /> all excess costs to complete the Work. The unavailability of materials at their scheduled time of installation will not be cause for delay of the Work. <br /> Time is of the essence in this Subcontract Agreement.(See paragraph 29 in the event of termination of this Agreement). <br /> 5. Chang,es in the Work. Owner may make changes in the work by issuing change orders to the General Contract, Hoffman shall notify <br /> Subcontractor of any change orders affecting Subcontractor's work. Unless otherwise directed by Hoffman,Subcontractor shall not thereafter order <br /> materials or perform work that is inconsistent with the modifications to the General Contract. <br />
