r , <br /> REVD <br /> OCT 4 2000 <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXESTOWN OF VERONA 1 <br /> IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the Town of Verona and the Madison Jewish <br /> Community Council,Inc. as follows: <br /> 1. The Town agrees to furnish or cause to be furnished to property owned by the Madison <br /> Jewish Community Council, Inc. in the Town of Verona such public services of the same <br /> character and to the same extent as are furnished without cost or charge to other property and <br /> residents; <br /> 2. On or before January 31, 2001 and on the same date of each subsequent year, the Madison <br /> Jewish Community Council shall make an annual payment in lieu of taxes for town services, <br /> such payment to be determined as follows: <br /> (town mill rate) X Property value($575,000); <br /> i <br /> i <br /> 3. Johnson,/ fd1L_— ' <br /> r k/Treasurer <br /> o4z000 dct 3/ aoav <br /> Date Date <br /> Understood Definitions: <br /> Town Mill Rate: Includes the mill rate for"public services" (see paragraph#1) of Town of <br /> Verona only and is not a part of the mill rate of adjacent municipalities. <br /> Property Values: Includes value of the land and value of buildings and improvements on the <br /> land; that is, the 1999 assessment of$659,500.00 less the current year assessment of$84,500 or <br /> $575,000. This value shall be used for purposes of computing the payment in lieu of taxes for <br /> the duration of this agreement. <br />
