The drainage areas served by the storm water management practices components on this site include <br /> portions of Lots 54 through 59,including the roof area of the proposed building of the lots. <br /> 2.Jj apecti nd Maintenance Schedule. <br /> a.All components of the storm water management system shall be inspected by the Responsible Party,as <br /> follows: <br /> • Diversion beans/ swales and side yard swains: Owner shall visually inspect each diversion <br /> berms/swales and side yard swales(collectively referred to as drainage ways)semiannually in the early <br /> spring and early autmmtrt. In addition, the drainage ways shall be inspected after large storm event <br /> (greater than 2.0" in a twenty-four hour period) for excessive erasion. Eroded areas shall be re- <br /> vegetated immediately_ Accumulated trash, debris and sediment shall be removed and disposed <br /> appropriately. <br /> • lai tion <br /> c-reten /InSNratiatoasins(main Gardensl: The Owner or authorized representative shall inspect <br /> these regularly to assess the condition of the basin. Any trash or sediment accumulation shall be <br /> removed as soon as practicable after each inspection. Any sediment and/or engineered soil removed <br /> from the basins shall be properly disposed. Snow shall not be dumped directly onto the conditioned <br /> planting bed. The vegetation at the bottom of the basin shall be kept in good condition. Re-needing <br /> shall be performed as necessary. Maintenance activities shall be in compliance with WDNR <br /> requirements,Technical Standard 1004 as follows: <br /> ACTIVITY FREQUENCY <br /> Replacement of Water Plants As necessayr during 5rst meowing season <br /> Watering during dry periods As needed after first growing season <br /> Re-mulching of void areas As needed <br /> Re-placement of deceased trees and or shrubs As needed <br /> Inspection of soil and_repairs to eroded areas Monthly, _ ---- <br /> Removal of litter and debris Monthly <br /> t Placement of additional mulch Once per year <br /> b.The following components shall be inspected by the Responsible Party more frequently as follows <br /> No additional or specific inspections or repair procedures are required for any of the storm water <br /> management devices on-site. <br /> c. The Responsible Party shall make the appropriate repairs whenever the performance of a storm water <br /> management practice or component is compromised due to sediment or debris. <br /> 3.&m alit, <br /> a. Mowing in rain garden areas shall be minimized to the greatest extent possible in order to maximize <br /> filtration of nmoff. If occasional mowing is necessary, the mowing height shall be no shorter than six <br /> inches in the Elio-retention/infiltration areas. Diversion berms/swales and side yard swales can be mowed <br /> to a height matching the adjacent yard area. <br /> • <br />
