SAB-53 <br /> of deciding said appeal a State Appeal Board comprised of the State Superintendent <br /> and the following named Presidents of designated Agency School Committees of Cooper- <br /> ative Educational Service Agencies which have no territory in the order under appeal: <br /> Mr. Donald Smith, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 1; <br /> Mr. Lloyd Krueger, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 6; <br /> Mr. Donald Simons, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 9; <br /> Mr. James Homstad, President , Agency School Committee of CESA No. 11. <br /> On July 16, 1968, after a public hearing on the petition filed with the Secretary <br /> of the Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 on <br /> June 19, 1968, and after a conference with the school boards of the districts involved, <br /> the Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 failed to <br /> order the reorganization by denying to detach said territory from Joint School District <br /> No. 5, Villages of Cambridge and Rockdale et al, and attaching said territory to Joint <br /> School District No. 1, Village of Deerfield at al, as requested in said petition. <br /> On August 22, 1968, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction sent Notice of <br /> Receipt of An Appeal filed on July 29, 1968, and Notice of Meeting to be held by the <br /> State Appeal Board at 1:30 P.M. on September 4, 1968, in Room B107, Wisconsin Hall, <br /> 126 Langdon Street, Madison, Wisconsin, to the clerk of each school district and other <br /> municipalities involved and to other persons including notice to the news media of the <br /> area affected. <br /> Said meeting was held on September 4 , 1968, where the State Appeal Board heard <br /> informally the presentation of facts and information affecting the educational welfare <br /> of the children involved in said appeal and after conferring and due consideration given, <br /> said State Appeal Board by a roll call vote duly recorded voted by a majority vote of <br /> its members to affirm the order of said Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educa- <br /> tional Service Agency No. 15 entitled Order No. 34 issued July 16, 1968, thereby deny- <br /> ing the appeal filed July 29, 1968, and denying the reorganization requested in said <br /> petition filed with the Secretary of the Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educa- <br /> tional Service Agency No. 15 on June 19, 1968. <br /> The State Appeal Board thereupon directed that an order be prepared by the Secre- <br />
