-SAB - 12 <br /> - 2 - <br /> purpose of hearing said appeal a State Appeal Board comprised of the State Super- <br /> intendent and the following named Presidents of designated Agency School Committees <br /> of Cooperative Educational Service Agencies which have no territory included in <br /> the order under appeal: <br /> Mr. William C. Kahl, State Superintendent as Chairman of SAB; <br /> Mr. Donald S. Smith, President, Agency School Committee No. 1; <br /> Mr. P. Stanley Olson, President, Agency School Committee No. 4; <br /> Mr. Lloyd Krueger, President , Agency School Committee No. 6; <br /> Mr. Andrew Houwers, President, Agency School Committee No. 10. <br /> On July 27, 1966, after a public hearing held on the petition filed with the <br /> Secretary of the Agency School Committee of CESA No. 15 on June 30, 1966, and after <br /> a conference with the school boards of the districts involved, said Agency School <br /> Committee ordered the denial of the detachment of said territory from Joint School <br /> District No. 4, Towns of Middleton and Cross Plains, County of Dane, State of <br /> Wisconsin, and attachment of aforesaid property to Joint School District No. 12, <br /> City of Middleton, Towns of Middleton, Westport and Springfield, County of Dane, <br /> State of Wisconsin. <br /> On October 28, 1966, the State Superintendent sent Notice of Receipt of An <br /> Appeal filed on August 2, 1966, and Notice of Meeting to be held by the State <br /> Appeal Board at 9:30 A.M. on November 11, 1966, in Room 421 South, State Capitol, <br /> Madison, Wisconsin, to the clerk of each school district and other municipalities <br /> involved and to other interested persons including notice to the news media of <br /> the area affected. <br /> That said meeting was held on November 11, 1966, where the State Appeal Board <br /> heard informally the presentation of facts and information affecting the educational <br /> welfare of the children involved in said appeal and after conferring and due con- <br /> sideration given, said State Appeal Board by roll call vote duly recorded voted by <br /> a majority vote of its members to grant the appeal, thereby denying or reversing <br />
