(CORRECTED ORDER) ORDER CF ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOOL DISTRICT Pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Dane County School Committee on the 25th day of August, 1964, and subsequently the said committee having held a formal hearing on the 14th day of September, 1964, and having held a conference with the school boards of the districts involved, all being in accordance with the provisions of Section 40.03 precedent to the issuance of this order, it is hereby ordered that the following designated school districts be dissolved, to-wit: Verona Union High School District, Village of Verona and Towns of Fitchburg, Montrose, Springdale and Verona No. 10, Town of Fitchburg (Camp Badger) No. 7, Town of Fitchburg (Stoner) Jt. 12, Towns of Fitchburg and Verona (Maple Corners) Jt. 7, Towns of Montrose and Verona (Schaller) No. 4, Town of Verona (Valley View) No. 5, Town of Verona (Andrew Henry) Jt. 3, Towns of Verona and Springdale (White) A. 2, Village of Verona and Town of Montrose and Verona (Verona Grade School) No. 1, Town of Verona (Maple Grove) all in Dane County, Wisconsin and to detach from the following school districts that portion of their territory which is presently in the Verona Union High School District: Jt. 4, Towns of Springdale and Cross Plains (Riley) Jt. 11, Towns of Verona and Middleton (Gordon) Jt. 6, Towns of Springdale and Verona (McPherson) all in Dane County, Wisconsin and to create a Common School District Joint Number 1, Village of lerona and Towns of Fitchburg, Montrose, Springdale and Verona, Dane County, Wisconsin, to operate both the elementary and high school grades, all being in accordance with the provisions of Section 40.03 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The school board of the newly created district shall consist of seven members. According to Section 40.26(8) Laws of Wisconsin (1963) the school board members shall be apportioned as follows: Portion 1 - Village of Verona shall have three (3) members, with one member to be elected for a three year term each year. Portion 2 - Area North of the North boundary lines of the following government sections: Sections 22-23-24, Verona Township; Sections 19-20 of Fitchburg Township; and East of the West boundary lines of the following government sections: Sections 3-10-15, Verona Township. This area shall have one member. Portion 3 - Area South of the North boundary lines of the following government sections: Sections 22-23-24, Verona Township; Sections 19-20, Fitchburg Town- ship; and East of the West boundary lines of Sections 22-27-34, Verona Township; Section 3 Montrose Township. This area shall have one member. Portion 4 - Area South of the North boundary lines of the following government sections: Sections 19-20-21, Verona Township; Sections 23-24, Springdale Town- ship; and West of the West boundary lines of Sections 22-27-34, Verona Township; Section 3 Montrose Township. This area shall have one member.
