U.S. PUBLIC LAND SURVEY MONUMENT RECORD
DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN
in accordance with the Wisconsin Administrative Code, Chapter A—E 7.08 Requirements
(8) Describe any record evidence, monument evidence, occupational evidence, testimonial evidence or any other
material evidence you considered, and whether the monument was found or placed.
I found and accepted a 1" iron rod as set by Richard D. Talarczyk on 01/10/91 at an ancient fence corner. This
corner was initially intended to be a reference corner to the center of section at the intersection of the N—S and
E—W 1/4 lines. Many surveys in this Section have been done accepting the N—S and/or E—W 1/4 lines as straight
lines; however, many of those surveys show signifigant descrepencies between the surveyed lines and existing fence
lines, especially in a E—W direction. Thom Grenlie used this 1" iron rod on C.S.M. 13023. l analyzed the location of
this corner and found that the 1" iron rod is within 1.5' in Northing and 3' in Easting of equidistant distance
between opposite 1/4 corners. There is no survey on record in Done County which indicates the center of Section
was set in such a way, but the physical evidence in the Section is extremely strong and affirms that this center of
Section was not only set equidistant between opposite 1/4 corners but used to subdivide the Section further.
(C) Was the corner restored through acceptance of (1) an obliterated evidence location, or (2) a found
perpetuated location?
A found perpetuated location.
(D) Describe any material discrepancy between the location of the corner as restored or reestablished and the
location of that corner as previously restored or reestablished by distance and direction. Graphically show
the discrepancy on the Plan View Drawing and reference the restored or reestablished corner location to
at least (4) witness monuments.
This center of section had previously been calculated at the intersection of the North—South
and East West 1/4 lines, but no monument was ever set at the calculated position.
(E) Was the corner reestablished through lost corner proportionate methods? If so, show the method,
including the directions and distances to other public land survey corners used as evidence or used for
proportioning the corner location.
No.
(F) Attach a photo of completed corner location if available:
NO11111111/1//j,
,C0 NS/4p
ROBERCTn(
TP
G
S.•
//jai ♦
!/1111111111\\\‘\
Robert A. Talarczyk, P.L.S. hereby certify that this corner location as identified by the corner code
index, was determined by me and under my direction and control and that this U.S. Public Land Survey
Monument Record is correct and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.
DATE: 08/26/2017 PAGE 2 OF 2 INDEX NUMBER:
1-05073 ca_CIZ-O
