(e)Describe any material discrepancy between the location of the corner as restored or reestablished and the location of that
corner as previously restored or reestablished by distance and direction. Marcy located signs of original bearing trees and set stone monument for resurvey of
Christiana township.
May 10, 1964-Unsigned tie sheet shows corner and references culvert.
August 3, 1978-J. Michael Clayton found a 2" iron pipe which agreed with previous tie sheet date 5/10/64
and accepted its location therefore setting a Concrete Monument with Brass Cap. Clayton also
recovered a concrete monument set by W.L. Marcy, recorded June 3, 1902. "The concrete monument
was approximately 1 foot South of the iron pipe and had been disturbed. It was leaning at about 45°off
vertical and fell into the hole dug in search of it. The 2 inch iron pipe has been used on at least 5
previous surveys of record. Therefore, due to the close proximity of the concrete monument and the
fact that it had been disturbed, I monumented the location of the 2 inch iron pipe, and accepted it as
being the correct location."
November 20, 1984-Glen L.Northrop found the square concrete monument with a brass cap and accepted
it as the correct corner based on previous Clayton tie sheet of record.
October 8, 1984-George A. Weir found the monument and reference ties.
(j)I,David C.
